1 of them just opened up a week ago. Cal between L.A. and San Diego at various points, for 45 years … And having been to TJ, Mexicali, Ensenada, Acapulco and Cancun… I’ve yet to see a real ‘Street Taco’ with salsa on it. I don't add the lime juice hot sauce or jalapeño to the cocktail- I usually serve these on the side so my family can add to their taste. I too grew up in El Centro, CA and my stepfamily lived in Mexicali. , But they still won’t give up their secrets! Try it with picante Clamato next time for added flavor.
